Directed by

The film narrates the real story of Erin Brockovich, a young mother fighting against PG&E, a big industry whose waste has polluted the water bearing stratum of an American town causing many deaths and diseases among its residents. Thanks to her job at a friend's legal office, Erin unexpectedly discovers some medical analyses in the company's file. She tries to convince the victims to institute a civil action in the trial, and gradually all the people accept. Thanks to her intervention PG&E is forced to stop using chromium in the factory compressors and to refund the residents.
