Gabriele Bortolozzo, a modern day hero, is fighting against the poisons produced by Petrolchimico at Marghera, a chemical industry complex just 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from Venice. He has denounced the widespread pollution and points to the evidence of its effects on the bodies of workers whose deaths were caused by occupational exposure to chemicals.
