Sam, the son of the president of Capital State, gets lost in the forest during a scout trip and ends up in a rural village in an exotic country. There he meets Nora and her little brother Kim, who has the gift of speaking with nature and listening to its promptings. Meanwhile, world leaders around the world, to counter the threat of fire beasts created by global warming, decide to proceed with a carpet bombing with cooling missiles, unaware that doing so risks destroying the Earth's ozone layer. It will be up to the three children to devise a solution to save all of humanity.
