Dulce
Directed by
In a remote Colombian village on the Pacific coast, a mother is teaching her daughter, Dulce, how to swim. Knowing how to swim is a vital skill in an area where subsistence is based on marine resources and the rising floodtides induced by climate change have swept away entire villages in recent years. Overcoming her fear of water will be Dulce’s first step toward gaining an appreciation of her natural and cultural surroundings.
