Bonsai

Directed by

The tree is a bridge between earth and sky, between the human and the divine. One who can keep a tree in a bowl has immortality assured. Thus the credo of the art of Bonsai. And the desire of the main character, played by Javier Botet, who studied the ancient Japanese art of cultivating miniature plants in small vases, pruning them into graceful creations, is convinced he has found eternal life.
