Blue Marble Cafe

Directed by

One evening, a man comes into a fast food restaurant and orders a hamburger. The man at the counter goes into the kitchen to prepare the order. A simple sandwich becomes an emblematic example of environmental risk and the socioeconomic cost of a globalized food industry that relies on intensive soybean cultivation on land gained from massive deforestation of the Brazilian Amazon.
