Baobabs between land and sea

Directed by

Due to their exceptional size and unique shapes, baobabs are among the most spectacular trees on the planet. Unfortunately, these giants are also threatened by deforestation. To study them, filmmaker and researcher Wilfried Ramahafaly travel by canoe, exploring 400 kilometers of Madagascar's wild and remote southwestern coast. This is the story of an expedition that reveals, through testimonies and scientific revelations, an extraordinary landscape largely unseen even by the photographic lens.
