Animol

Directed by

Animol is the anagram of Milano. Five people lend their voices and experiences providing a description of the city-animal relationship. A young designer all caught up in the launch of her pet shop, a retail of pet accessories and fancy attachments galore. The director of the Civic Aquarium in Milan: founder of the only butchers' cooperative in Lombardy. A young lady, who is the entrepreneur of an animal farm-kennel-cemetery. And an entomologist, the owner of a small disinfestation firm. Their reflections and desires collected in the interviews are associated to images of fishes peacefully in suspense, sophisticated disinfestation artillery, trendy coats, bleak slaughterhouses and excruciating howls.
