Alone with wolves

Two naturalists will spend nine months on the Putorana Plateau, a mountainous area on the northwestern edge of the Central Siberian Plateau, south of the Taymyr Peninsula. This territory is identified as the true "kingdom of wolves." Will our protagonists be able to glimpse the cautious, intelligent, and reserved masters of this harsh land? It's a daunting challenge, but it may also dispel the literary image of "bloodthirsty wolves" once and for all.
