Tyger

Directed by

While the city sleeps, a mysterious tiger will reveal a hidden reality… Based on William Blake's poem of the same name, Tyger opens in the manner of a musical videoclip, mixing different narrative styles and animation techniques, rendering the emerging chaos effective and convincing, photogram by photogram, before the viewer's eyes.

«Visually, the challenge was to choose what kind of image I wanted for each element, without worrying about their coherence, and then to work hard in the final composition to make them all come together. As the story is all about relating city to jungle and people to animals, what it says is simply that some principles that appear unrelated at first sight are actually much more alike than we usually think».
