This film deals with Copenhagen’s new landmark: the World’s biggest offshore windfarm, which comprises 20 huge wind turbines positioned outside Copenhagen harbour. This film follows and explains the process from its early stage to the different phases of the construction and the setting up of the towers. These turbines produce more than 3% of the capital’s electricity consumption, and supplies about 30 000 homes per year.
