The Big Fix

Directed by

On 22 April 2010, following an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon offshore oil drilling rig leased to BP, hundreds of thousands of liters of oil began to spill into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, causing one of the greatest environmental disasters in history. Retracing the history of the company, and drawing on accounts by scientists, experts and residents of the areas hit by the black sea stretching the Gulf coast from Louisiana to Florida, a tale emerges of corruption and vested interests ruling the oil drilling industry, as well as a chronicle of the botched management of the emergency.
