In an undefined location, surrounded by four extremely high walls, live World, a giant, and Third, a mere skeleton of a man. There are no doors or windows here, just a slot for food to be passed through. There is no ceiling either, and above hangs a pine branch from which each day a pine cone falls. Each morning a new pine cone appears, as if by magic. World and Third live together, as inseparable as master and slave, being and non-being, capital and labor. Third possesses but a pine cone, while World dines on the free food pushed through the slot. One has nothing, the other everything seems – or so it.
