How many dismissed functioning technological devices will there be? What are the causes to this environmental alarm and which are the possible solutions? These are just a few of the questions to which the documentary tries to give an answer. An investigation which, starting off from the technological waist, brings us to focus on the relation between technology and the spread of knowledge through the discovery of new frontiers, such as free software and copyleft. It's a short leap from environment and mental ecology, isn't it.
