A documentary which is difficult to classify. It is a collage of films shot in the early '70s with a soundtrack made of interviews and texts belonging to the same period. By retracing moments, faces and gestures, this work revives the true meaning of some places which have become attractions for mass tourism. The point is that mass tourism has killed the taste for independent travelling and, consequently, the sacrality of places and the cognitive exploration of the territory. The choice of the soundtrack is an attempt to recreate the atmosphere and sensations that accompanied the old way of travelling.
