Ritratti abusivi
Directed by
Thirty apartment buildings built in the 1970s, now completely dilapidated, house sixty families, mostly illegally. This is Parco Saraceno, a peripheral ghost town like many in Italy, stretching out on the outskirts of Castel Volturno, in the province of Caserta. An area of widespread poverty and lawlessness, where taxes, water, and electricity are not paid, and where residents live a life suspended between daily violence and the dream of a normal life. But their fate is sealed. In a few years, all the buildings will be demolished to make way for a huge marina, a symbol of the revitalization of an entire area.
