Quello che resta

A year-long journey across the mountains of Sicily, a barren unpopulated area, as seen through the eyes of a young shepherd, a vulture missing a wing, and an astronomical observatory. Twenty-year-old Nicola searches for his place in the world, guided by 50 pasturing sheep; nearby, electronic telescopes scan the sky for asteroids, and the vultures (Gyps fulvus) have been reintroduced to the area and are awaiting release. The three compose a fresco of this distant world and unique landscape undergoing change.
