In the harsh seas of Čukotka, far eastern Russia, whale hunters pilot their small boats between ice floes. Their life is governed by one principle: kill to live, and live to kill. A silent watch over distant lands, while reflecting on how the law of survival contradicts the modern vision of man’s place in the world, reminding us who we really are.
