Sitting comfortably in the darkness of a movie theater, few of us are aware or able to grasp that film has a dark portion between frames, and that without it, no image would exist. Starting from this observation, Klára Tasovská leads us in a fascinating reflection on one of the most ancient antinomies in human history: that between light and darkness. We will listen to the voices of astronomers, projectionists, and a group of young people who created a general blackout, until we accompany the director herself in a veritable darkness therapy, thus verifying the real necessity of artificial lighting for our civilization.
