Promised Land

Directed by

Steve Butler works as a professional agent for a major energy corporation that assigns him, along with his coworker Sue Thomason, to a small town in the Midwest. Their task is to persuade the residents to surrender their land in order to extract natural gas. The company is counting on the impact of the economic crisis, anticipating a huge reaction to the proposal. However, the task that appeared straightforward on paper becomes more complicated than anticipated when he faces opposition from certain residents of the town. When Dustin Noble, an environmental activist, comes to town and gains the local community's respect, the situation will get more complex.
