Population Boom

Directed by

It is estimated that the world's population has now reached seven billion. This figure has catastrophic consequences for the entire planet, such as those linked to the depletion of natural resources, the management of toxic waste, and climate change, at least according to various scientists who tend to identify overpopulation as the greatest threat to human survival itself. But is this really true? This is the question Werner Boote seeks to answer through a journey around the globe that took him from the slums of Kenya to Dhaka, Bangladesh, the most densely populated area on the planet, passing through cities like New York.
