In the Gulf of Palmas, on the south-west coast of Sardinia, the fishermen of Basso Sulcis cannot go out to sea because of NATO military manoeuvres at Campo Teulada firing ground. Since 1997, restrictions for fishermen have been getting steadily stricter and larger areas of sea have become off-limits for them. Nevertheless the fishermen do not want to give up; they want their sea back.
