About the Movie Pane e sapone

Scene/ry of sustainable

Course/competition to make a video on the subject of sustainable development: daily and imaginary life, framed from the environmental, economic and social viewpoint.

Pilot project promoted by: Sustainable Development and Waste Services, Turin Territorial Laboratory for Environmental Education Audiovisual Media Centre of Turin Province, in collaboration with Coop Zenit Arti Audiovisive, Ar.N.I.A (Environmental Image National Record Office) and Cinemambiente.

The project, whose aim is to provide instruments of social and environmental communication, has produced 5 reportage-videos on environmental and social issues. The basic idea is to realize a cooperative activity, where the competence of each party involved can be integrated in order to make finished products ready for possible distribution.

The project, started this year for the first time, has been carried out with five selected groups who applied for it. Technical teaching has included analysis of video language (linguistic models and video techniques) and some meetings on issues concerning sustainable development (environmental communication, local Agenda 21 procedures, local good practice of sustainable development, etc.).

The outcome consists of five 10 minute reportage-videos on environmental issues. Turin International Environmental Festival Cinemambiente is one of the partners of the project.
