Océans

Directed by

Traveling at 10 knots with a school of tuna while they catch sardines; watching the acrobatic antics of dolphins; swimming alongside a great white whale. After thrilling us with Winged Migration, Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud are back to take us on a journey to discover the world’s oceans and their inhabitants: from the Polar ice shelf to the South Seas, from the Galapagos to the South African coast. A bigbudget documentary (€50 million and 4 years in the making) that serves to demonstrate the extraordinary diversity of marine life and to sound the alarm about a world where many of its inhabitants are species at risk of extinction.
