Nuru

Directed by

The director of the now closed Antwerp Zoo persuades a scientist to conduct medical experiments on a gorilla, one of the last remaining animals in the zoo. It could mean the final attempt to restore the zoo to its former glory. The gorilla is artificially inseminated and, kept caged, is observed for the entire period of gestation. But not all works out as planned.
