Nomades du nucléaire

Directed by

In France, thousands of people work in the nuclear industry for subcontractors. Working on maintenance, many of them move from one nuclear plant to another, like nomads in caravans, which have become their new homes. Young people are especially attracted by a good salary and the idea of earning a large amount of money in the shortest possible time. So, against the backdrop of a hard and solitary life, Marie-Lou, Florian, Jérôme and Vincent share the dream of a different future, with a home, children, a guaranteed financial security.  Driven by these goals, they continue to travel between the different plants: they save as much as possible and receive salary bonuses, at the cost of being constantly exposed to massive doses of radioactivity.
