An astronaut emerges from the wreckage of his spacecraft in the volcanic crater of Mount Nyiragongo. As he descends into the city below, he encounters the people of present-day Goma, an experience that leads him to understand how to change the future of that place. Driven by a search for a true home, for his own identity, and for values that express who he is. The astronaut will turn his exploration into a profound inner monologue.
