Mefite

Directed by
In the heart of Irpinia, in the windy Valle d’Ansanto lies a small lake, Mefite, which has emitted sulfur vapors for thousands of years. The area is sparsely populated; where grain once grew now stand wind turbines. Vito has decided to remain and protect a landscape that is both fragile and powerful at once. Reality mixes with legend in this story of an unstable balance between humans and nature.
