Los órganos internos de la Madre Tierra

Directed by

An experimental film, a journey in reverse that follows the smoky smell of coal from the port of Amsterdam to its origin: an open wound in northern Colombia, a mine with a devastating impact on the territory and on the indigenous Wayuu community who have an ancestral and caring bond with "Mma," Mother Earth, considered unique and holy. A fascinating visual reflection on the meaning and contradictions of mining is created through the blending of different narrative styles.
