Le Système Total, anatomie d’une multinationale de l’énergie

Directed by

In 2021, TOTAL, one of the five biggest oil companies in the world, changed its name to TotalEnergies and announced a new project oriented towards energy transition, which aroused widespread feelings of perplexity. However, interviews with scientists and researchers show that this change is not very credible, and the work done by the industry giant in many parts of the world (such as Texas, Uganda and Gulf of Mexico) proves this. In addition, the opinion of experts and analysts is backed up by the work of men and women combacting the lies of the multinational and fighting for citizen’s rights and the safeguarding of the environment. Their efforts resemble more and more a modern day version of the battle between David and Goliath.
