Dedalus awakens after a long sleep to find himself prisoner in the labyrinth he created, caught with Ariadna in the red cord that the Minotaur uses to capture people. Saddened by the loss of his son Icarus, he ventures out to find him in today’s world of branded merchandise and relentless clothes buying. He accompanies a group of fashion students in their exploration of what lies behind the flashy store windows of clothing franchises: unjust production practices that ignore workers’ rights and workplace safety regulations. Combining art and activism, the film offers a collective perspective on the concept of transparency and human rights in the fast-fashion industry. It is the product of the #FashionReverse teaching project, curated by Fair in collaboration with hòferlabproject.
