Là suta. La nostra eredità nucleare in un triangolo d'acqua
Directed by
In Saluggia, a small farming town forty kilometers from Turin, a nuclear research center, an experimental reactor, and a reprocessing plant were established in the late 1950s, where techniques for recovering uranium and plutonium from irradiated fuel elements were developed. The site, no longer safe after the 2000 flood, is currently being completed on a new waste repository. Archive material and the testimonies of activists, local administrators, scientists, and industrialists highlight the risks of storing radioactive waste in an unsuitable area, endangering the water resources of an entire region.
