La pressa
Directed by
Between the first decades of the 20th century and the present, the initial diffidence towards machines has unexpectedly changed into a blind, nearly unconditioned trust. From archive material and interviews with today's and yesterday's workers, the film explores the question as to whether the only danger is worker-related and whether safety is solely an achievement of technological progress.
