La città della poesia

On the way to Leopardi's birth town, casual travellers will read several signs reminding them: “Recanati, the city of poetry!”.

If you walk round the historical centre though, you will find it difficult to appreciate the poetry of noises, fumes and landscapes crowded with cars. But with a little good will and imagination you can see poetry everywhere…even in the city of poetry.
