Il signor sindaco e la città futura

A project that tells the story of Domenico Lucano, the mayor of Riace, a small village in Reggio Calabria, who created a model of sustainable integration. In 2016 Fortune magazine counted him among the 50 most influential leaders in the world. He was the only Italian. The project is conceived and built as a contemporary fairytale. It deals with subjects such as integration, cohabitation, hospitality, and ecology, but more than anything it refers to the common, simple, and effective sense of a single man. In the course of three mandates he was able to repopulate and transform the almost completely abandoned village into a vital center. Riace today has over 1000 inhabitants from 20 different countries.
