I Want to See the Manager

Directed by

In light of the structural transformation of global markets, I Want to See the Manager connects the dots between economic growth and decline in seven paradigmatic episodes: India, Bolivia, China, the USA, Italy, Thailand, and Venezuela. All of these places share some common features; each episode reveals the hopes and fears of the people involved. The film compares the local experiences of economic rise and fall against the backdrop of the global issues at stake.
