An unusual portrait of cities with the Eurythmics' back-ground music. Subtitles reveal staggering statistics relating to health and urban settlements: by the year 2000, half of the world's population will be living in urban settlements, 75% of the cities with over 5 million people will be in developing countries. The urban population is growing by 7% each year. There are 100 million homeless people across the world. Stunning, and frequently shocking images accompany these captions revealing the potentially explosive nature of today's cities.
