Främlingen

It is a beautiful late summer day. In a city park a man leaves his daughter to play in the sand and goes for a run. A passer-by enters the park and walks towards the little girl. Their eyes meet for a moment then, as if following an impulse, the stranger enters the sandpit, picks some sand up and builds a castle. The little girl, intrigued, rushes to him. He lifts her up and spins her around in the air above the castle like an aeroplane. They find themselves flying over the sandbox and then over the park, until they vanish, laughing, into the forest trees. A memorable encounter.
