Dove l’uomo non è più sovrano

Directed by

The “four provinces of the Appennines”. Since people left these mountains, nature has taken back its stolen spaces: beeches, hornbeams and oaks cover the most inaccessible areas, martens and wildcats live in chestnut groves, which have regained their former condition. In the eyes of civilized people, these places may seem neglected and lifeless. Actually, sheltererd by those big trees, a new generation of animals - including foxes and wolves - is learning the primordial rules in order to survive as long as possible in the wilderness.
