Christian, a visionary researcher who studies wild geese, develops a plan to save them from extinction: he will guide them with his ultralight on an alternative migratory route from Norway to the south of France, safe from power lines, airports, light pollution, and illegal hunting. For his son Thomas, however, videogamer and smartphone-dependent adolescent, the idea of spending summer vacation with his father in the French countryside far the comforts of contemporary life is unthinkable. Nonetheless, Thomas learns to share his father’s plans and joins him on this incredible adventure.
