Florida, 2006. After becoming caught in a crab trap, a dolphin is freed and brought by Sawyer to the Clearwater Marine Hospital where it is treated and named Winter. But because of the serious wounds, the animal’s tail is amputated. Winter’s grim fate appears sealed, until Sawyer, together with a biologist and a physician specialized in prostheses, once again save the animal, offering it the chance of a new life. Based on a true story; with Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson and Morgan Freeman.
