Die Stille aus einer Stunde CNN seems to be just an editing work on the short pauses anchor men and women need to catch their breath or to think during reports. Indeed beyond this game, at the base of the documentary, lies something very difficult to explain. The viewer realises that television news reports cannot possibly convey the real experience on the battle fields of a war despite their attempt (to some effect?) to documenting it.
