Croods

Directed by

Eep is an adolescent girl and a member of a family of stone age cave dwellers, the Croods, once numerous but now dwindling due to predation by hunters and mammoths, and various natural calamities. Weary of subsistence survival under an overly protective father, Grug, who does not allow her to go out alone, Eep is eager to discover life beyond the cave. One night she meets Guy, a young nomad who predicts the end of it all, teaches her about fire, and gives her a conch she can blow when in danger. Conflict with her father is imminent. But her eyes have been opened to a completely new life.
