Consumidouro

Directed by

In the constant race to consume, any individual living in the rich Western world takes pleasure in his/her life of plenty, made possible only by the exploitation of the resources of others. But are we sure there is still something left to grab on this planet of ours? Here we have a fresh, entertaining animated short from Brazil, but no, wait a moment, let's leave it at merely fresh... considering the results achieved by the greedy protagonist.

«Our intention when we produced this film was to quickly put together questions about: compulsive consumerism, individualism, disrespect and the indifference to the future of our planet. It's about human behaviour and our relationship with the environment. Today, every single one of us has a responsibility towards the environment, and we should listen to our conscience in every sector of our society, continually searching for solutions to create a sustainable community».
