Constantinople, 1910. The newly seated administration contacts European experts to find a way to rid the city of its homeless dogs. Dissatisfied with the experts' proposals, the city government has the nearly 3000 dogs caught and deported to a small uninhabited island nearby. Winner of the Golden Palm for best short at the 2010 Cannes Festival.
