Drinking water is readily at hand whenever and wherever we need it. But this has not always been the case and still today is not everywhere so, not even in a major city like Berlin. Arno Steguweit, Europe’s first water taster, Samuel Höller, member of an environmental association that promotes the use of tap water, Rachele Raffaela Cutolo, owner of a shop selling religious objects and holy water, and the residents of a Berlin slum district without municipal water supply explain why.
