«The story of the videoclip Animalia was written in 1995, at the time war was raging in Yugoslavia and acts of violence came so close that we began to think that perhaps we had always harboured it deep down inside us. In 1995, Tommaso used to cycle along a road scattered with examples of cruelty to animals every day (...). It therefore seemed natural to portray that story in the light of the spiralling increase in violence that surrounds us today. We support OIPA, the Organization for the Protection of Animals, not in order to educate people, but simply to tell the story of our experience through our song and video clip. If you still have doubts after watching and listening to Animalia then we have managed to share something with you». (Perturbazione)

Endangered by human actions, the diversity of species is crucial to the harmony of the interconnected ecosystems we inhabit: the implications of its loss and why this issue affects more than just those that go extinct.
