A Traveller’s Guide

Directed by

“I’d like to be invisible so that I don’t ruin everything.” A diary entry by Ton Van Zantvoort, the film’s co-director. Van Zantvoort spent eight years travelling the world and filming diverse human and natural locations with which he had to interact. The result is a stream of images that give a fractured, yet poetic account of the impact of mass tourism, touching on solitude, inequality between North and South, and our relationship with nature and animals.
