biography
Born in Vienna in 1956. Graduated from high school in 1975. Studied theatre at the University of Vienna until 1976. In 1980 he obtained his diploma as a photographer at the ‘Hoheren Bundeslehr-und Versuchsanstalt’ in Vienna. He then worked as a press photographer and simultaneously worked on theatre projects. He directed commercials and from the 1970s onwards devoted himself mainly to directing. In 1992 he founded Cult Filmproduktion. His films include: Sehnsuchte - Sudfruchte (1979), Die Hochze.
