biography
She is an award-winning director and producer. She made Solo (2008), co-directed with David Michod, after a long television career. After founding the studio Stranger than Fiction Films, she directed Miracle on Everest, Living the End (2011), followed by Sherpa (2015), which was about the 1953 venture of Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary, and Mountain (2017).
